Medical Director

Dr. Jose Bacala, MD

Dr. Bacala grew up as a Air Force Military brat, but calls Las Vegas, Nevada home. He received his bachelor's degree in Health Physics/Comprehensive Medical Imaging at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2006. He worked as a Ultrasonographer at multiple hospitals here in Las Vegas prior to going to medical school at the American University of St. Maarten School of Medicine. He graduated medical school in 2011.

After graduating, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Beaumont Health in Michigan in 2015. Prior to moving back to Las Vegas, he served as an attending faculty/professor at Beaumont Health where he taught resident physicians and medical students. During this time he also served as medical director at a community urgent care.

Dr. Bacala has received the "Patients' Choice Award" and "Compassionate Doctor Award" multiple times. He is a board certified Family Medicine Physician and also works as a Ring Physician for USA Boxing here in Las Vegas.

Registered Nurse

Ramona Leifer, RN MSN

Ramona is an experienced healthcare professional and has completed a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Touro University in Henderson. With over 600 clinical hours in family practice, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and mental health, she brings a well-rounded approach to patient care, focusing on personalized treatment and up-to-date medical practices. Ramona was nominated for the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year in 2016. Ramona also served on the Leadership Committee for congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at Centennial Hills Hospital.

Ramona holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Nevada State College, graduating Cum Laude with a minor in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration from the University of Phoenix.

She has also worked at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center as a Coordinator for Facility Education, leading nursing education programs and improving care standards. With her clinical experience and leadership skills, Ramona is dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
